Whe good times go bad.
Im going to say this before I begin: It could have been worst. Today I was practicing at Lake Elsinore for the upcoming race in 2 weeks and right as I was taking my last lap before calling it quits after the perfect day (the bike was running exelent I feel comfortable and fast on the bike), Me and the guy that I passed took the jump at the same time, me seat bouncing the bike going slow and him full throtle on the bike. Suddenly I feel my rear wheel turn a good 90degrees I thought that a rut or a rock at the begining of the jump threw me off and it could be fixed but I look back and realize the dude pushing through my rear wheel as I continued to turn (in mid air). I figured that the only thing that would save me was a bail. I jumped off the bike right as it was going to hit the ground expecting to be pounded by my bike in addition to a bunch of piling up riders. I was layng there on the ground with my bike right next to me and the rider that tapped my rear wheel comming onto me with his bike landing on my head.. He quicly got up to direct upcoming traffic and I surprisingly got up feeling no pain at the moment probalbly because of the rush of adrenaline, picked up my bike, and rode back to the pits with a bent clutch lever, a torn up grip, and a big dent on my helmet to end the day. Took of my gear to inspect my body and found nothing but a slightly skinned arm a followed by a bruse and a sore neck. As I was loading the bike into the truck, a kid came up to me and said that I was really fast and he enjoyed watching me ride he also saw me crash but I apperciated what a nice kid he was. He really made my day. Overall still a superb riding day. Most importantly, I walked away from the crash with minor injury.Smile

    Charles,
Thanks for the comment on my pic. It helps to get a good roost pic if your friend is standing on the corning taking the shot and your in 2nd gear instead of 3rd to get a good drive. I am just grateful to be back and having fun since I had a bad get off years ago. I cannot hang on for more than a couple of laps with my bad arm...but I am back. Life it and breath it Charles...the years click off pretty quickly!

That's a pretty wild little bike you have in your custom graphics pic. I'm scared to ask what it cost to put that together. Smile
