I always hated having to take an additional day off from work to attend practice day before a regional along with the additional weekend expense with practice fees. Good riddance I say.

Anyone that doesn't have special interest in lining their pockets and could see that this sport needs an overhaul both in the pros and amatuer for it to survive the long term. Most people mentioned in this thread would not qualify.
