Yes they will fit, and yes you can run a wider tire.

It all depends on the version of the clutch and the adjustment. On the EXP you will have a stiffer clutch pull, and with the Core EXP it feels like stock. You can adjust you throw and have it engage a bit higher and free wheel, or a bit lower and drag ... more »

We install them all the time and always tell customers that if they don't like it we will do a full refund including the install price..........never had to worry about it.

Same bike he was winning on last season. There is something wrong obviously, because his results are way under what he is capable of.

Mechanical devices fail. I have seen it before. Kenny will make the best of a bad situation, and Hart and Carmichael will have to try to cope with the OP's decision on this one.

Much respect for both riders. I want Blake to keep strong in the points, but if he has to sit out a couple rounds and be on the podium the rest of the year I think it is worth the tradeoff. Stew.........just finish and build from there my man.

Would work out quite as well if it was Dungey.

I would only buy them as a set. Honda sells separate and they work fine when doing one or the other. The other brands machine the as a set. Not saying you will, but chances for trouble with just one side are high. Transmission shafts, crank, and shift ... more »

The bad thing about a wreck like that is that you have SOOOOO much time to think about what is going to happen!

Hinson, Pro-X, and DPK are all good aftermarket options. Most of the aftermarket stuff is junk and you get what you pay for with the clutches from my experience. I have guys all the time that bought a certain brand and after two rides they are needing ... more »

What were your intake valve clearances? Also if your cam timing is off it will not start. Make sure the marks line up at top dead center and make sure the intake valves clearances are all on the money. The center intake valve on this bike is the one ... more »

Do a compression test. If you were using coolant, you probably ingested some and it scarred the cylinder/piston.

Too lean on the pilot could cause this. At your elevation a 45 or 48 should be fine. I see the o ring on the fuel screws damaged a lot of the time and this will cause it as well. Another less likely thing I have seen is varnish in the nozzle (the part ... more »

Reply to White smoke coming out exhuast after starting 5/10/2016 10:09 PM

White smoke could be coolant. It usually does not go away though. Check your coolant level. If it is using coolant, it could be the head gasket. This is detectable through a leak down test. If you have bad valve guide seals they will smoke for a bit, ... more »

I would do a piston, cam chain, valve guide seals and check the valves. Cam chains are cheap and I see a lot of guys let them run loose and skip a tooth on the camshaft, which causes big issues. If you have access to do a leak down test, this would tell ... more »
