They use the same dirt for each event, after the race the dirt is stored and not touched till the next year or in Anaheims case A1, A2, A3 then next Jan.

Wrath child. My favorite part when Cinqmars launches a big whip and does a look back at the helicopter following him all in slow mo, it seemed almost like he was eye level with the pilot.

I'm not disagreeing the fact that that they are fast, same can be said for a supermini (insert Adam Ciancarillo) but to comment on the original question I don't think it is powerful enough to push around a full size chassis like it does a mini.

I'm not trying to start a pissing match here, it to me doesn't make sense to put a kids size motor in a adult size frame. If you want a 4 stroke then a 250f makes sense.

No I have not ridden one, I am an adult. My son races 85 and supermini against 150s and 150s are not any faster than a supermini or most 85's for that matter. What 125 are you referring to a ttr?

150 motor is basically like a 85-100cc 2 stroke so I think it would be way underpowered.

Well I really am torn because I really like the RM, I have no issues with the handling, the suspension has been done by MCR , the motor has been done and the bike has lots of goodies. I just sometimes get thinking newer is better but if that means buying ... more »

Ya I just can't swing that much money on a bike right now or that's what I would have. Love those new KTM'S. Keep in mind Eric I still have a daughter racing quads and a son racing 85's both whom live at the track all summer, I probably spent the equivalent ... more »

It seems like little shit like a case saver or chain guide or if I just want to add a bit of bling stuff it's not available for my year. Even looking through a catalog for stuff it seems like if I don't have a newish bike there is no listing.

I also have a guy interested in trading a 2010 yz 450f for my street bike but I hate trusting what people say about the time they have on the motor, that's what I like about the 250f of my friends. And buying a new bike is out of the question unfortunately. ... more »

So I currently have a 2001 RM 250, love this bike and although it's essentially the same bike through 2008, I seem to have a hard time getting aftermarket parts for it here where I am in Canada. I ride every weekend and have had to miss the odd weekend ... more »

Buying a new bike is out of the question financially for me, I already spend a small fortune each year with my son and I racing bikes and my daughter racing quads. Not to mention that his bike has a fresh motor, new tires, chain & sprockets, brakes, ... more »
