A detailed picture of the ISF/REM shafts, they look like jewelry. I will be using everything else in this pic other than the two shafts, so they will not be offered for sale.

After review ONLY the two circled gears are different between your OEM trans. and the one I have for sale. The 2013 has a 28t 2nd gear output side, while the set I have for sale has 23. Additionally the 2013 has a 21t 4th gear while this set ... more »

OEM Crankshaft for a 2010 KX250F. It's been machined & lightened, balanced to within .001", with a new rod and bearing. It was just balanced by my local tuner Steve Balboni. It only fits 2010 cases. I unfortunately learned the hard way having an

Added reply in a thread 1.85 rim ok on a 450? 5/3/2015 9:31 PM

it will work but not ideal. Especially if you plan on using a 120 wide tire, it becomes quite a chore mounting tire in my experience. Also, the wider 2.15 tends lay out a wider footprint of the tire once mounted giving you extra traction for the 450 ... more »

Yes, because I also bought a used cover & the previous owner didn't include the PC impeller.

All i needed for my 09 with the same setup was one longer additional case mounting bolt like you mentioned. I reused the OEM impeller, washer, and bolt.

I see an opportunity for the aftermarket parts to develop these. That would be a nice feature for sure. EDIT > *Quick google search shows a constant need of pressurized oil in the cylinder head for these to work. So therefore a redesigned head would ... more »

681.. Exactly what I was thinking, it would have been the hot setup to put the updated transmission gears into the 09 cases. I remember bringing the 09 into Chaplin Kawa back when the bike was new to get a safety bulletin work. I'm not sure what they

Today I had the crank runout inspected by a local machine shop. It was within spec. I couldn't believe it. So I went back and assembled the cases without the transmission. It went together with ease. Then I tried assembling the motor without the crank

Paw Paw: Oil screen is just not shown in pics, it was installed after. I will have to check run out; I don't own a proper dial gauge but tracking one down is my next step. I had a Hot Rods crank kit, but sold it in favor of this unit, which is the box ... more »

Added reply in a thread Pressing crankcases together - Binds 4/9/2015 8:25 PM

The crank is claimed to be a factory kawasaki part, but it looks like it may have be a machined and lightened OEM unit with a new rod. After taking the cases apart the 1st time, the main bearing from the Left case stuck to the crankshaft and was removed

The engine is a 2009 KX250F. I am using a new crankshaft, new bearings, transmission was ISF/REM coated and a whole bunch of other money was thrown at the bike. Not that any of that matters. I have pressed the crank into the right side crankcase and ... more »

What are you doing with your old plastics? I'd be an interested buyer for a fair price. Plans to reuse the same seat cover ?
