it will work but not ideal. Especially if you plan on using a 120 wide tire, it becomes quite a chore mounting tire in my experience. Also, the wider 2.15 tends lay out a wider footprint of the tire once mounted giving you extra traction for the 450 ... more »

All i needed for my 09 with the same setup was one longer additional case mounting bolt like you mentioned. I reused the OEM impeller, washer, and bolt.

Today I had the crank runout inspected by a local machine shop. It was within spec. I couldn't believe it. So I went back and assembled the cases without the transmission. It went together with ease. Then I tried assembling the motor without the crank

The crank is claimed to be a factory kawasaki part, but it looks like it may have be a machined and lightened OEM unit with a new rod. After taking the cases apart the 1st time, the main bearing from the Left case stuck to the crankshaft and was removed

Only thing you'll need is the updated style fender hardware. In 13' they changed the 4 fender bolts which have a wider diameter spacer/dowel than the old bolt. In other words, the bolt holes in the plastic fender are a wider diameter than the previous ... more »

Two strokes are not too kind on hard pack tracks with little traction. If your main objective is to achieve results, stick with the four stroke. Four strokes are inherently easier to ride fast in those conditions. With a two stroke, you'll be fighting ... more »
