Jon ,I had Eric port for "top end" and had a pipe with Eric's jetting recommended. I don't remember the brand of pipe but it was mostly top end for sure.

I had that same bike and had Eric port it when he worked at Tuf Racing. Loved it but durability was not the highest. Enjoy your fruits of your labor.

If you're original purchase of the bike was in the North East it would have sold for $ 3500.00 to $3800.00 easly. Nicely done.

Congratulations on your new bike. You simply could"Not" have chosen a better bike to buy IMHO. Hasn't changed in 12 year's. I don't know if there is a bike with more information and options out there.

I know for sure that it will work. The porting layout is totally different.83- cyclinder vs the 84-85 cyclinder will match all three years.83 cylinder is the Holy Grail between the 3 year's.Honestly anything can be made fast If you throw enough money ... more »

Bent, That is Awesome. I tried to use the 1983 Yamaha Wrech reports but obviously the motors are different enough that it would not work. Thanks very much. I going to try and find that issue.May 1985 correct.?

Thanks RIV187, Your comments and story made me laugh because 1985 was my last year I raced and I was in the Novice class.The bike I had back then was in fact a KX125.Loved that bike,Eric Gorr ported my motor when I believe he was working for TUFF Racing.
