I usually de-grease my air box thoroughly, wash it then put it in the dishwasher to get it really clean. After that I wipe Vaseline all over it and let it sit for ten minutes then polish it off. It comes up really good.

On the works bikes of the eighties it would have been easier to fabricate an aluminium tank than a plastic one. The plastic tank would have been moulded, thus making it necessary to manufacture a mould. The aluminium tanks used on modern four strokes ... more »

I bought an aluminium one for my 1986 CR125 and haven't regretted it. I had to ream very slightly the hole for the kickstart shaft and powder coat it. I even got a matching Honda Racing aluminium ignition cover.

Just picked this little baby up. According to the (2nd) owner it has done 1/2 a season with a junior rider who didn't like riding, then was parked up in a heated conservatory. Yes it needs a new clutch cover. It is very original and even has the spares

The grey brake reservoir guard was readily available back in the eighties from TMV, White Bros and Pro Circuit. They were made by TMV in Holland as a copy of the Factory Honda guards, they usually came with fork and disc guards as a complete
