If those who are phony's are your heroes, then just keep on keeping on.

What's really sad about this whole deal is that it shows how hard people are looking for someone to be their voice or hero's. And a good number of people have picked a bunch of phony preppy's that are now backwoods Louisiana duck hunting hillbilly's. ... more »

Minuscule is correct. If not for name branding, along with Japanese pride. There would be no OEM involvement in Supercross and the Outdoor Series. But either way, the sport will go on. It's just a matter of at what level it will go on.

All of you two stroke guys here. Cernic has a brand new KTM 2012 125 SX that's never been ridden. It also has FC suspension.

Newman I don't ride at all anymore. But I can assure you that I have put in my time at "ALL" different levels of the sport. And was heavily involved in pro racing when the four strokes can into play. No need to try to reason, logic is the best way to ... more »

Ask your local dealer how many units they sell a year.

The local level wants what the pros have. The local level wants two strokes so motocross thrives instead of dies. Isn't that why professional motocross even exists these days? No, that's not why Pro Level racing exist. It's about "name branding" in general. ... more »

It's a big world out there. Those who are not happy with either the OEMs, or owners/ sanctioning bodies of today's pro racing need to either build their own bike, or buy your own series. I honestly don't believe that there are a lot of pro riders here, ... more »

Well Since the OEMs are just total dummies, when they finally go belly up and have that "fire sale" maybe you and Mitch can partner up buy one of the big four and run it like it should be ran. But until that happens. Just don't buy one of those evil ... more »

But Jay! The pros need to ride what the week end moto enthusiast ride. You just don't get it.

I don't disagree when talking about the small bore class. But as I have said, it wouldn't change anything. Were you as concerned when the factory two strokes were un-affordable to the masses? But I can honestly say. The 450 class is one of the best things ... more »

I am not trying to be an asshole, so please don't take it that way. But do you think that the privateer could afford the same bike as the top 125 two stroke teams back in the day? The big bore class has no advantage as far as HP or motors goes. But as ... more »

No arguments from me. I agree 100%. Good post.

Twos and fours are totally different motors. I don't believe in the existing system of two stroke 125s vs the 250f. But I would be in favor of a 200 two stroke vs the 250f. As far as the 450 class? Make it an open class and let the two strokes go up ... more »

I will be glad when some finally buy a four stroke, So they can feel like they weren't left behind, and don't get butt hurt because pro racing doesn't use the same equipment that they do. If you like the two's, then by all means ride a two stroke. But ... more »

Jeff is a good pick for a test rider. The uphills killed that motor.
