I do? Don't get me wrong I want the Ukraine to be a free democracy but we cannot engage Russia on any level unless it is worth us starting WWIII. Mutual destruction is a very real thing and is what has kept us from war with the Soviet Union in the past ... more »

I couldn't agree more. I hope Ukraine is able to remain independent but the West has no business interfering in the affairs of the former Soviet Union. There was never any direct conflict with Russia during the Cold War for a reason.

He will probably get a win sometime in his career but there is no way of even remotely guessing when that might be. Maybe sometime this year, maybe next year, maybe a few years from now. Who knows? If it happens it will probably be out of the blue like ... more »

Being comfortable with a belief (or anything else) doesn't necessarily mean you derive comfort from it. Used that way it is more in the sense of contentment and being free of vexation or doubt.
Added reply in a thread Creationists, sheesh 2/28/2014 12:21 PM
Well. that is a bizarre mischaracterization of what I said. I didn't say I believe because of a need to feel comfort (though faith often provides it) I said it has been proven to me, and the big questions of life have been answered for me. I believe ... more »

The rubber meets the road? As in the moment of truth that you can't explain beyond some vague, generic, and broken circular reasoning? Oh I see, you're once again saying that you have an answer, therefore it must be true. Truly, you just don't care if ... more »

What I would like to get to the bottom of is how you can now try and argue that christianity doesn't consider man to be a sinner from birth The reason I explained a little about the theology of sin is because I believe you are assuming an incomplete ... more »
