Mike Brown posed for this shot at Southwick he year he won the 125 title over Langston. In 2001 I met another Mike Brown, the Hollywood screenwriter who wrote Dead Presidents and In Too Deep. He coached me on the early draft of the moto-movie I am developing.

The Gunfighter

Pit raced JHK Kawasakis when I raced Kawies, then when I switched to KTM, he had changed the year before. I am in touch with Pit after interviewing him at Buddswhere he just missed the title to Fred Bolley. It was surreal, me ajournalist trying to cheer him up, reminded him he ook teh title fight to the last moto of the last race. He smiled after that.
