sorry I didnt respond sooner, I forgot the password...Lol.
Yeah, the USGPs at Budds and Unadilla will live in my mind forever. Right after I interviewed you I waled over to Pit Beirer's tent and tried to interview him but was stopped by the late Jan deGroot, a really imposing man. When I showed him a picture of my KX with factory JHK graphics, he let me in...Lol. I have a friend who knows the Kawa France team guys. I recalled trying to cheer up Pit as he was nearinconsolable at losing to Bolley. I reminded him he took teh title chase to helast moto of the last race...it dont get no better thna that. His response was "one only has so many chances to become world champion." I never forgot that in light of his turn of events.
Anyway, what's this about team Suzuki? You are replacing Tedesco? Good for you my man, Euro team manger too. You will do great David, I cant wait to root for you next year.
Mike
it seems like yesterday we were at the Budds Creek USGP and I approached you under a tent and did a small interview with you. I was starting my journalism thing and you were coming to America the next year. I've watched you grow and get the kind of fan acceptance JMB never got. :-)
I remember a jerk throwing a bottle of beer at him at Unadilla once. It almost hit me trying to him him. >:-(
Good to see you hanging tough on the track and in life. I will see you at the Dilla and Budds later in the year.
Happy Birthday! Joyeux Anniversaire! 1977 was a really good vintage, wasn't it! By the way... you've better change the age on your bio page at dv12.com
Good to see you yesterday! Wish I had gotten the chance to stop and chat with Mrs. DV at Pole Position. Wow, what an unbelieveable event. Good on ya with that bidding too
I didn't get to stay for the karting, did you do kart? I liked the orange shoes! They looked like F1 racing shoes!!! Did they make you faster? heehee
