I've never quite understood this Trax diagram? Surely it just shows a shock with less rebound damping?

I agree, personally don't like the look/idea of running KTM fender on Husky.

No probs, that's a bummer! I think the only one they sell through Husky is that 2 bolt version you have, but if you buy through FMF you have the option of their standard Shorty which is definitely a 1 bolt for the Husky 125. I've actually spoken with ... more »

It's actually a kit i've been working on selling for a while. Got a few people interested so just waiting to get the stock together for all the bolts needed for the CR125 motors still. If interested, drop me an email chuck_davies@hotmail.com they'll ... more »

By the way, project sounds great! I've only had a chance to ride mine a couple of times, and still needs jetting sorting a little but it's a great bike! I had a 16 FC250 so i'm used to the handling etc now, and my Factory KYB Forks/shock are now revalved ... more »

I think if your FMF silencer is a 2 bolt version, then it's not the shorty as you mentioned, just the normal powercore? I could be wrong but i'm sure the FMF shorty is a 1 bolt jobby? I'm looking at getting the factory fatty/shorty for my 17 TC125 too... ... more »

This is true^^ Also, a lot of people buy them that seriously wouldn't benefit from them, infact, most of these they would hinder them. The 52s are really stiff, and require a lot more maintenance due to the internals and the aluminium lower tubes

1994 125 season is definitely one to watch if you haven't seen it! Some incredible racing at every round! I did a little throwback to Ryno's 94 setup at Farleigh VetsMXDN last year on my 94 Splitfire KX125 - i'm a fan if you can't tell... haha

I don't rate Ohlins 1 bit, so i'd say there's a lot better options to consider before that route. What about the 48mm CVs? Or the KTM/Husky specific Factory KYB setup from Technical touch that i went with...

Hadn't planned to go this over the top with it being a bike to ride, but it's nice to know everything is 100% fresh like a new bike now... Hopefully have finished bike photos tomorrow, and i'll make sure to get up a video of it running too.

The finished motor... Took on board nino's help as he's tried and tested many setups with Mugen CR125s. Was a lot of work and effort to turn this thing around in a matter of weeks, but bike is basically finished now, AHEAD of my end of feb deadline i
