If it's original, leave it 100%. You won't be able to replicate it, and if you try and do that somehow it'll just look like a cheap replica. Look at all the ex team bikes in museums etc. All freshly built but the cases have some wear on like this - no ... more »

Watched it a few times, then raced it the past 2 years in the Open Super Evo (90-96) class on my 94 Splitfire KX125, both years finishing 4th overall.

Determined to make it onto the podium on a 125, i'm racing this year on my Mugen powered ... more »

Anyone else get bored watching Baggett for ages just riding round - not his fault, just terrible TV direction. Oh and whilst i'm moaning, that Astars kit is hideous, and the boots are vile too. Annoys me that Alpinestars makes all their sponsored riders ... more »

That modelling looks awesome so far, good job! I think that bike is still in the PC showroom? If you email PC and ask nicely i'm sure they'd take some close ups of the bracket for you. If not, let me know and i'll see if my friend is going by the showroom ... more »

Over a year after posting this I know have the exact Braking 230mm rear rotor needed for the build, pretty chuffed as i've never seen another one of these for sale! It came with a 94-96 Billet 230mm Caliper bracket too (needs a clean), but that won't ... more »

NOS Flo Green UFO Front plate/Radiator Shrouds/Front fender. The black bits are available still through UFO so i'll buy those later down the line when the project nears completion.

Been too hectic to get too involved with this project for a while due to University commitments, but just finished last week so keen to progress it. I've still kept an eye on all sites for the rare parts i need and have located some good stuff lately,

Cool stuff! Looks a big 'ol stadium so should make for a decent track. Ferrandis on home turf with his refined SX skills could be dangerous

Hearing great things from everyone who's bought it so far. A little weird at first but as soon as you get into it apparently it's a lot better in all aspects.

I wouldn't say Ferrandis' speed was the most surprising for me as I've watched him race many times and knew he'll be winning soon, but I was just glad for him to be able to get a good start and show how fast he can be. Hoeft's speed was impressive though, ... more »

For the record i wasn't on about changing Glen Helen, I'd meant to quote rutsmash. I thought Glen Helen was awesome. Prep was good for the surface and the new layout was way better than previous years from a viewing perspective!

Cool idea but i'd rather Maxima just added the clear measuring strip down the sides with a filler pipe on the lid

I'd really like to see a national this year that wasn't ripped all the way round. A proper hardpack track so we can see some block passes/squaring up etc. I know it's been discussed before but that'd be awesome to see it switched up!

Added reply in a thread Tomac should just buy some off the shelf front brakes. 5/28/2017 2:27 AM

I can't see it being a rotor issue itself, aside from switching to round to wavy, it's pretty much the same KHI design they've used since the early 90s. If it was a design fault they would've changed it by now.
