It's good to see you point this out. It's a hell of an accomplishment knowing his history. Have I just missed it on the broadcast but I don't think I've heard them mention it?

Yeah, it's the side panels that aren't quite right. Green side panels and blue seat will make it complete. Cool project. Made me go look at some pics of my old '92 KX.

This didn't happen in his crash. He wiped out and his bike was laying in the middle of the track. About 3-4 bikes made it around Zach's but the last one had to wheelie straight over it and the bars snapped. SPEED didn't air it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.......I get it; punish the guy that works the hardest. And on the surface that's what it looks like BUT we need to make changes to improve the ENTIRE sport instead of focusing on how it will penalize the best rider. Ask yourself this.... ... more »

Far from retirement age and I've never worn the uniform. I just realize that a change in the points system could really add some excitement to the sport. Apparently the majority enjoy having the series wrapped up way before Vegas. This SX season is already ... more »

Personally, I like the idea of a series, especially the very few that come down to the wire. But, this is the kind of creative thinking we need. I have a boss that has the mentality of "study the problem and make a decision, right or wrong. Just don't ... more »

"A great rider shouldn't be punished for our excitement". Dude, the excitement of the fans is what it should all be about. Building excitement amongst the fans will increase interest in our sport. Like it or not, MX is part of the entertainment industry, ... more »

Good question and I don't have an immediate answer but.......that shouldn't be the end of some creative thinking. Man, I really don't like NASCAR but I got to hand it to 'em; they are continually making changes to make the racing closer and more interesting. ... more »

If you don't think the points system needs to be changed then you have your head in the sand and don't even realize how stagnant this sport is. Is anyone ever going to do something creative to to create most interest from "outsiders" and outside industries? ... more »

Hahn was 2nd but man did he look good and smooth. He looked faster through the whoops than any of the 450's and he's tripling onto the table in the rhythm section. Threw some monster whips too.

Added reply in a thread Is there a "go fast" gene? 3/20/2013 8:56 PM

This has always been in line with my theory. I believe some people see things in "slow motion" so to speak. What seems fast to some is not to others. This goes hand in hand with the ability to focus better. Used to ride with a guy that spoke about like ... more »

Was it 'The Reality of Speed'? It was the Boo-Koo Honda team on that show, not a Yamaha team. Michael Holligan was the owner, Vuillemin, Justin Keeney and maybe Josh Demuth were the riders. Cool show but they made DV out to be a prick!
