Reply to Breaking News: 2017 MXGP of USA Changes Venues 7/19/2017 7:11 AM

No natural elevation change, so not the best viewing, but looks like a fun track. Good size for a GP or National. I went to the Ottobiano MXGP and it was not much different. Totally flat with some artificial hills and almost entirely sand. Still a good ... more »

Reply to New Shift MX Boot? Thoughts? 7/19/2017 7:02 AM

I think they're dope. Doesn't look like they provide much support (kinda remind me of the Alpinestars Vector boots) but I like the look!

Ha yeah it can't all be gold. Same on my end. I stand by my "strong writer" comment though!

Aaron has been at it for a long time and is a really strong writer. Believe it or not, there are more moto journalists out there than just GuyB, ML512, Coombs, Weege, Maeda, Matthes and Weisel.

Nuun I've been using this stuff since 2008 or so, once I finally figured out how to properly hydrate. I sweat a bit more than average, and growing up in the East Coast humidity, I would always have muscle cramps after races (and sometimes during), no ... more »

Not sure what happened behind the scenes at Feld or with MetLife Stadium, but I think a big problem with attendance this year was the fact that NJ Transit stopped running service to the stadium for any event expected to draw less than 50,000 fans. The ... more »

Reply to Is a 250 4 stroke to quick for me 6/12/2017 11:30 AM

No, a 125 or 144 is the next step up. Since you already ride a two-stroke, a full-size version with a little more power is a great next step to gaining confidence and learning how to ride properly.

Still rockin the Vital Revival YZ125. Although now its a 144...I cheated. Planning to hit Etown this weekend! You still getting out there Danny? Haven't ridden since November so I'm anticipating one lap of glory. A few Lukaitis snapped of me last July

Best comment so far! Very true.

New thread Malcolm for Team HRC (MXGP) 5/23/2017 1:14 PM

Just saying, I see an opening since Bobryshev is injured. At least Malcolm has raced a bit overseas (although that was indoors, but it's something). I've always thought too many American riders overlook some excellent exposure and experience opportunities in Europe/abroad. ... more »

Think of the KTM/Husqvarna relationship as something similar to Toyota/Lexus, or Vokswagen/Audi (because they were once separate manufacturers but now fall under the same umbrella so some, but not all, of their base parts are the same) might even be ... more »

This sport is so weird and cool, and weird. Pretty crazy moves they make midair too, hanging off the side of the car just before

It's so familiar yet so different from standard two-wheeled-one-rider MX
