Someone name Tim Gasjer perhaps?

Added reply in a thread RedBull.com: Dungey Remembers 10/6/2017 11:25 AM

Thanks BS12! I think Ryan knew he was going for the championship the whole time. Once Tomac picked up his speed it was all about just staying as close to the front as possible. Those last few races (and I think more so Tomac's flub in NJ vs Musquin's ... more »

Added reply in a thread RedBull.com: Dungey Remembers 10/5/2017 2:31 PM

Glad y'all like it. A little background on how this interview came about: After Dungey announced his retirement, I began thinking of this idea for an article. I had not spoken directly with Ryan in a few years and probably hadn't texted him in 7 or 8 ... more »

Started new thread RedBull.com: Dungey Remembers 10/5/2017 7:10 AM

In case you guys haven't seen this, I interviewed Ryan a while back for a retrospective on his career on RedBull.com. I had him look back on a bunch of photos I took of him over the years and comment on that specific moment and also the general time

Added reply in a thread RC on the future of 2 strokes 9/6/2017 1:11 PM

Look, I love two-strokes too (still have one) but they're old news. Whether they come back a bit or not, they are not the future. Everyone is so caught up on all this two-stroke stuff it's getting old. Like it or not, electric is the future. That's where ... more »

Added reply in a thread Ricky Johnson on Tomac and the MXoN 8/10/2017 2:38 PM

Last year Tomac stated the same reasons for not going. No surprise he chose to skip it again. Bummer, but I'm still watching the race no matter who attends for the US. It's just a cool event.

Added reply in a thread Sweet craigslist find 95 kx125 8/10/2017 2:34 PM

Original BARS! Now that is crazy. Those old steel bars used to bend if you looked at them wrong. I rode my buddy's '94 KX125 once and I remember the power was way different than my '95 CR125. Of course I had no idea what I was doing on a dirt bike back ... more »

Added reply in a thread Is Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch a fun place to ride? 8/4/2017 11:23 AM

Not fun. Raced it in 2010. Probably okay if you're on a mini bike, because that's what the layout favors.

Added reply in a thread 90s mx racing. Got pics? 7/27/2017 10:28 AM

A couple from '99 on my KX250. Had been a 125 guy since I started racing and had never thought about moving up to a 250. The problem was at 6'3 and 190lbs, I sucked on the 125. My buddy finally convinced me to get on a full size bike and it was the right

Added reply in a thread Throttle for the Gold- best video ever 7/26/2017 12:18 PM

I guess they used most of the same footage (and music) for the one I grew up watching, The Best of Supercross: Thrills, Spills and Chills. I've watched this video so much I have pretty much every word memorized. It was pretty much my introduction to ... more »

Added reply in a thread KTM's response to Alta? 7/25/2017 12:35 PM

Alta is in a similar position to Tesla at the moment. They're small but have the best electric option by far. The Freeride E (which I've ridden on a few occasions) is fun but is more in the realm of a TTR125 than a full-size bike. I'm sure there are ... more »

Added reply in a thread Breaking News: 2017 MXGP of USA Changes Venues 7/19/2017 7:11 AM

No natural elevation change, so not the best viewing, but looks like a fun track. Good size for a GP or National. I went to the Ottobiano MXGP and it was not much different. Totally flat with some artificial hills and almost entirely sand. Still a good ... more »

Added reply in a thread New Shift MX Boot? Thoughts? 7/19/2017 7:02 AM

I think they're dope. Doesn't look like they provide much support (kinda remind me of the Alpinestars Vector boots) but I like the look!

Ha yeah it can't all be gold. Same on my end. I stand by my "strong writer" comment though!

Added reply in a thread Who is Aaron Hansel? 7/12/2017 10:30 AM

Aaron has been at it for a long time and is a really strong writer. Believe it or not, there are more moto journalists out there than just GuyB, ML512, Coombs, Weege, Maeda, Matthes and Weisel.

Added reply in a thread Hydration Preferences 6/14/2017 1:01 PM

Nuun I've been using this stuff since 2008 or so, once I finally figured out how to properly hydrate. I sweat a bit more than average, and growing up in the East Coast humidity, I would always have muscle cramps after races (and sometimes during), no ... more »

Added reply in a thread '18 Supercross schedule 6/13/2017 8:15 AM

Not sure what happened behind the scenes at Feld or with MetLife Stadium, but I think a big problem with attendance this year was the fact that NJ Transit stopped running service to the stadium for any event expected to draw less than 50,000 fans. The ... more »
