no..... the guards are the result of his hand injury, and it's the hand injury which is the cause of his results if he was fit and healthy, he wouldn't be running hand guards, as all they do is protect his hand (hence the name), they don't affect anything, ... more »

some good news..... after some rumblings about this being the last year here at the track (still stay in Argentina, but change location), they just held a press conference where both Youthstream and the local authorities were very happy about the race ... more »

The MXGP of Argentina has been one of the best additions to the World Motocross Championship that we can remember. The track and dirt are fantastic, great local fans turn out in droves, and it really brings that "world" feel to the series. Take a few laps with Ben Watson as he talks about the event, the local area (including mountain biking and the lakes), along with how his year is going so far.

I get into town tomorrow night.... can't wait to see the track, heard (and seen) big things about it so be nice to finally check it out don't care who wins, as long as there is some good racing.... which i reckon there will be!
Honda sell more motorcycles in Indonesia than they do in the whole of Europe.....
Indonesia is Honda's second biggest market for selling motorbikes in the world... so yea, motofinne is exactly right And roninho. .. you can argue all you want, but those are reasons they are going to these places and choosing these venues. Switzerland ... more »
because you have to have a track that can hold all the fans and facilities that are needed at an MXGP and it is much easier to build a new place.... than try to adapt a current Indonesian motocross venue i believe Indo has a 3 yr deal and i think that ... more »
Assen was great both years..... Switzerland was actually an awesome GP I went to them..... i also went to this Indonesian one and i have to say that there were more happy fans at this race than perhaps any i've been to (outside of an MXoN) they absolutely ... more »

both MX2 motos are counting....
the track is much better but they just postponed the women's second race so they can work on the track some more in time for the MX2/MXGP it did rain for about 5mins pretty hard during the mx2 practice, nothing too serious..... hopefully it'll hold
well it hasn't rained since the women's race...... but apparently heavy rain is forecast here for 1pm local time
