About Me
I'm Suzi, but most people either know me as "Spencer's Wife", or "Sean,Lauren,Sami or Dylan's Mom". I'm originally from Tucson, spent a lot of time in Orange County growing up, and moved there about 11 years ago. Summer of 2007 we moved to North Carolina, north of Charlotte. My oldest son Sean, now 22 has been racing since he was 5 in AZ and CA. My daughters both ride, and the youngest Dylan now 9 rides his KX65, and he's been riding since he was 2-1/2. So my kids have grown up in the middle of a track. We used to have a MX track in our front yard that a lot of the locals would hang out at. I'd also transport a lot of them to races with us, or practice in the middle of some God forsaken patch of Tucson, Eloy, Casa Grande, Sierra Vista..lol I took up photography, after getting sick and having to take a break from riding, partly out of frustration..that hobby ended up becoming a trackside business, Fast Boyz LLC, up until it began to interfere with my own MX racing. I won a series in AZ, the women's class, before moving out here to Cali. After moving to Cali, I'd just ride for fun, or to teach kids/adults how to ride. 2 yrs ago I ruptured L5 and S1 disks in my back, reaching for a grocery bag, not a mx injury, so I'm once again sidelined. After almost 13 years at Kawasaki, my husband Spencer took a leap after being asked if he'd like to help build the Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross team. Needless to say, lots of major changes this year. The Gibbs family has been great. North Carolina is gorgeous. The new team is awesome, great blend of personalities, and the riders are getting dialed in. I was stoked to see so many other women on VitalMX with similar stories..interests. I tend to be very friendly and outgoing..so don't mind me..lol

Thanks, Suzi, I'm glad you're digging 2.0.
Ah, bummer that you were feeling bad in Atlanta. This time if year between all the travel and the indoor stadiums, it's easy to get sick.
The family's doing good, and I'll keep looking for shots of your riders. (Though the LCQ was kind of embarrassing last weekend).
