Same for me. I've ridden my 08 RM250 and 15 RMZ450 back to back on the same track and the difference between the 2 is noticeable, particularly on the really harsh square edge hits. The aluminum frame definitely transfers more to the rider. I've also ... more »

As above, check for air leaks and give the throttle and carb and thorough strip down and clean. Also ensure you are running enough slack in the throttle cable. Also check your pilot jet, I've found a lean pilot can make the bike hang in the revs a little. ... more »

As above, a CRF master cylinder alone is a great mod. But I'm also currently using a CRF front caliper as well and really like it. However I think a lot of the added power and bite is down to the stock Nissin pads I'm running. They are better than any ... more »

Lucky for us quite a lot of the late 90's races are on Youtube. Not the same as watching it live on the night though, I bet it was awesome. Loving this thread, I had no idea he used forks from a CR!

Been riding RM250's since 2010. I think the headshake thing is over exaggerated. Don't get me wrong I've got head shake on the RM several times, but never any worse than on any other bike I've rode. I think the difference is that with Suzuki's you need ... more »

Nice work! Some great pieces on this bike. Love the solid rear rotor. Graphics scheme looks great too. Where did you get the factory front plate from? May I ask how much it cost?

More preload will raise the forks in their stroke, so this could be a good start if you feel they are sunk too low in the travel. 4 clicks out is quite stiff. so if your forks are low in the travel this could make them feel harsh. The combination of ... more »

Said to improve air flow, saves a little weight too. I used an RM250 cage in my RMZ450 (identical cage just without the screen) Didn't notice much difference, but no harm in giving it a go.

Would you be willing to sell the water pump piece separate? I already have a carbon lightspeed sump guard cheers

Thanks for the help guys!

New thread Help Identify My Master Cylinder (CR/CRF) 11/30/2017 1:03 PM

So I purchased this front brake. I'm pretty sure its a Honda MC but have no idea of the model or year bike it came off. I purchased a Renthal Intellilever (LV-113) and bought one for a Honda CRF250/CRF450 07-17 thinking that should do it but it's not

Loving this! Some lovely pieces on this bike. Even though the hubs aren't HRC, they are gorgeous! I wouldn't be upset with having them fitted to one of my bikes

RMZ fork and RMZ clamp, with RMZ front wheel and axle etc. I've bored out stock RM clamps in the past to fit RMZ forks. But want to use RMZ clamps this time so interested to see how others have done it.

How did you go about mounting the RMZ clamps? Did you use an RM steering stem? What have you done for steering stops? I'll be doing the same mod to my RM this winter so any info would be great!
