I raced indoor on polished concrete a couple of times. Now that was sketchy for traction but the competition was fierce. We had some ex Canadian #1's in road racing and a few fast moto guys thrown in for good measure. This looks like even more fun that ... more »

Always depended on how fresh my clutch was. Sometimes it would creep all on it's own.

Definitely not a 79. Probably 81-82. The fenders in 79 were squared off like the pic of the 50 in this thread.

If they added some ridges to the concrete pads instead of just leaving it dead flat nobody would complain about concrete starts.

I can confirm this as a Canadian. Bombs going off everywhere, the invasion has begun. We have not yet begun to fight!

If by "government" you mean "bill of rights", then yes you would be correct. A democratic republic, by it's very nature, is designed to represent the will of the majority. Since a government is free to write, enact, change and repeal laws, including ... more »

One nice thing about hypothermia, is that you get really warm towards the end. They know for sure somebody is in the late stages of it when they find them walking naked in the woods in -50C weather. I can't stand a humid heat. A dry desert isn't so bad, ... more »

Hey Luke don't let some of the responses here turn you off. There's plenty of folks here that want to politicize everything from wind energy to corn flakes. Wind is expanding and there's plenty of work to be found in the industry. Find a forum more ... more »

It wasn't that bad here. We had a little more snow than usual and maybe it was a touch colder than average, but we didn't get hammered like the east coast did. I'm thankful for that.

Snows all gone man. Just waiting for the grass to come back to life at this point. Should be firing up the mower in a week or two and baseball starts at the end of this month.

If you want to fly under the radar look into TOR or the dark web. Of course they still managed to break up silk road, so for all it's encryption they still seem to have a way track you. If somebody truly knows how to stay anonymous on the web these days, ... more »

What were you saying about drug addict losers in the other thread? Great advice, I guess opiates are OK to abuse if they come from a proper drug store eh?

I had a buddy Eric who got his license and then worked for a local company where he'd fly their heli's between their downtown pad and their hangar at the airport for extra flying time to get to the point where he could fly with passengers. It took him ... more »

Find an insurance company that does their own underwriting. My insurance rates dropped in half when I found a company that managed it's own risk and wasn't just reselling a policy that was underwritten by somebody else.

How many of us as weekend warriors have gone into work on Monday with a broken bone from racing on the weekend? Personally I think that's a little more impressive than a guy racing while he's sick.

Electrical fire. The first thing they do is pull the plug on all the circuits and add them back until they find the short. This includes communication systems. This article provides a simple yet plausible explanation: http://www.wired.com/autopia/2014/03/mh370-electrical-fire/ ... more »

The best way to "honour" his memory, is to simply ask who when people mention his name. Let him forever fade into history as a bad memory that need not be repeated.

This talk of him only training for a 15 lap main is stupid. What the hell is the kid going to do when they get to the outdoors if he can't make it 25 minutes on a supercross track? Baggett will eat the kid alive if he can't go 35 + 2.
