Cam gears can sometimes spin on the cam itself and become improperly timed. Visually looking at your KTM if the cam gear is only bolted to the cam and not indexed then it is very possible it spun.

Sean, You weighing 265lbs is going to require you to run a higher air pressure then stock. When doing so, the PSF forks tend to become less compliant. The best mod you could do to start is to get the next rate of stiffer balance springs (3.3N to be exact). ... more »
Patrick, Sounds like the forks you have feature subtanks. The correct oil volume for subtanks is the stock oil volume PLUS the volume of the subtank. For example: Manual says 200cc and subtank has a volume of 50cc. You would pour 250cc of oil into the ... more »

How much does he weigh? Good chance we needs new springs and that the stock ones are not stiff enough for him. Springs would improve the bike overall (handling, ride height, and suspension)

If it has been long enough that you are worried about the nitrogen pressure then surely the shock would also benefit from an oil service. Nitrogen is only part of the shock's function.
