I would have liked to have seen Honda keep Jim Pomeroy in Europe when they hired him in 1977. I think he could have won a 250cc World Moto-cross Championship if Honda had kept him over there, (as they told him they were going to do when they hired him). ... more »

Yea, the results and also here are the riding numbers for 1984. I found this on the highly accurate interweb so it must be correct. Plus it does look like it was scanned from an AMA document.

It's raining now in Washougal and is supposed to continue tomorrow. Then nice for the remainder of the week into Saturday. The ground in Washougal probably could use a little moisture right about now.

Added reply in a thread I was at Millville...Langston... 7/23/2014 12:01 AM

What I found amusing was that Langston called Stewart "son". That's kind of pretentious for somebody that is only 3 1/2 years older than James Stewart.

Thanks. I always got those guys mixed up. Didn't they ride for the same team in 84? I will fix it.

jeffro503: I've got a Canon CanoScan 5600F. It's a flatbed scanner and it does a good job on slides and negatives also. You can find them on sale some times for around $130.
