About Me

My name is Ranel Cox Jr., but everyone calls me Bo. Motocross is my life, always has been and always will be. Everyone always wants to know but are usually too shy to ask how I got in a wheelchair so I'll just tell you… I crashed racing MX on October 18, 2003. I broke my back in a few places(Paralyzed at L2), my hip, my foot, and the day before my crash I broke my ribs riding. Its been a long road from that day but I think I have accomplished a lot… I am still in the chair, but hopfully not for much longer. I am paralyzed but that doesn't stop me from doing anything. Because of Ricky James I am riding again and I can't thank him enough for that! My bike is an 08 KX250F. It has a hand-brake, Kliktronic shifter, and an auto-clutch. I can't thank my family and friends enough for helping me to ride! Without them I wouldn't even be able to load my bike ride it! Also to stay around MX I have a small clothing company called Kill'em Clothing that I go to the races with to sell and help out my friends. I love that it keeps me at the track even when Im not riding!

    x games?!? are you doing winter x games or next years? and what will you be doing? i am going to go next year! i missed it this year cuz of work and was super bummed about it!!

    i will let her know what you said about thanking him tomorrow when i take her to camp pendleton! it is a good thing what our troops are doing for us over seas!!

    and wow that is a lot of riding! you have to have major love for the sport to be able to do what you do! do you like riding the 4 stroke? personally i love 2 strokes...mostly for the smell of the premix and thats what we grew up racing!!

    so do you have any videos of yourself riding?? like on youtube?

    you have a track in your back yard!??! that is super awesome!! when we first moved here we put a 50 track in our back yard with like a 20 foot gapped double haha! it was awesome!

    im doing great! just about to go pick up my cousin from the airport! her husband is coming back from Iraq on thursday and he hasnt seen his baby yet so it is going to be a cool thing to reunite them!!

    so when was the last time you were able to ride?!?
