Attention Motocross Enthusiasts, a new group called MotoMob is forming with the intention of taking down the media! The 2008 Monster Energy Nationals is the largest motorsport series in Canada but yet the least covered. That needs to change!
Canadian motocross needs to get recognized for the physically demanding and challenging sport it is! If bowling and curling can get into the news, why can't motocross? We need to make motocross not just a blip on the media radar but an in your face signal. The protest we are planning is sure to generate media attention, but we need support in order to make it happen. On July 3rd we need AT LEAST 75 people standing outside Breakfast Television in Toronto, ON. Show them we mean business!
Even if you don't live in the GTA, you can still participate. July 3rd will go down in history as a day when motocross enthusiasts got together to defend the sport they love. From Vancouver to P.E.I you can participate by calling your local media and telling them you want motocross coverage!
