The MXD involves a lot of luck. All I can offer is to check patterns in results, riders fav tracks, nagging injuries etc. Also you need to be a little ballsy on picking the hot riders. It may screw u some of the time but in order to have a chance you have to gamble. good luck!
ever race against Sarah Whitmore. On the ground I think I could hang with her but when I saw them race at High Point a few years ago they jump like lunatics, I'd get smoked in a lap against chicks like her. No shame though, they are faster than quite a lot of local experts. At 46 I'm sorta too old to be hucking 85 foot tabletops.

welcome to the blogs. Where do you race in Michigan. I was pretty tight with Keith Bowen when we were both on teh national AX trail. Me as a journalist for Cycle News and him as teh Director of AX. We had some mad fun but life moves us in different directions.
