Been going to moto since the 1972 Superbowl in L.A. Raced locally from 1972 until 1981....quit to raise the family and then started doing a few vintage races the last few years. Pride myself on being one of the main players in Fantasy MX and over the past several years me and the girls have 14 Number one plates from MXDream. Won the first Motonews MX season that Denny started, Number 1 in SX in 2006, have won 18 sets of full race gear over the years, over 6K in prize $$$$ and so many shirts, goggles, tires and such I cant even remember. Since I ahve been playing with my wife and daughter we figure we have won prizes and cash that have reached 5 figures. What is not good news is that durying my 9 year race career my total winnings were a bunch of cheap plastic and when I finally made it to local pro for my last season I actually got paid $15 at the end of the day at a race at De Anza cycle park when I finished 2nd out of 5 in a Pro race. We went out and celebrated my first payday with beer and pizza and spent $40...not to mention the gate and entry fee. All in all my first moto payday cost me $100 or so, that is why I work in home remodeling. Still follow moto every day and when at home I will sit in front of the computor and watch the ticker and listen....it is a sickness. Try to hit all of the big So. Cal races and really look forward to each SX season rolling around.
