Last two weekends I did not attend a GP but the next two will be all about GP racing for me.
This Friday, I’ll hop on an Easyjet flight from Amsterdam to London and stay with my mate Simon and his lovely wife Claire. Simon and I will ride up to Doninigton Park on Saturday morning for the GP in his super fast Mini.
The track is new, and from what I have read, it’s very good with a lot of jumps.
We’re not sure yet were we will be staying on Saturday night but I’ll sleep in the car if necessary.The weather forecast looks good so we’ll be fine. I guess.
Cairoli already claimed the MX2 world championship last weekend in Ireland but the MX1 championship is wide open. A still injured Coppins will return and defend his points lead against Ramon who rides with a broken bone in his hand, must be tough for both of them. We’ll see what happens.
I’ll be home on Monday again with a load of pics to process. Hope my new Apple MacBook already arrived by then. My old PC laptop is getting old and slow, need a new one but I’m switching to Apple. They’re supposed to be really good, but I can’t confirm that yet……..
