If Hannah gets in the Baker Factory it might just be enough to get her there. Yes she is racing supermini at MEC.

After 2 years of RM 125 transmission parts I could have bought another bike! Got Jake a YZ 250 now, hopefully a letter better durability from this one.

A squish band width of 50% of bore and .030 to .040 max gap. Run at least 95 octane and Motul 800 at 32 to 1. Haven't had an engine failure in over a year with this combo.

My last rebuild found out a Wossner rod kit was .010 shorter than the Hot Rods which I normally have my guy use. .010 is more than I would have wanted. Had to send the head out to get recut. Bought a RM cylinder that had the base cut, when I gave the ... more »

How do you know how to adjust port timing when you don't know where it is to begin with. How do you know how to cut a head and chamber when you don't know where the piston sits in the hole at TDC.

How a guy can take your cylinder and head, and start grinding and machining. Not knowing where the piston sits in the hole or at what point the ex port opens is beyond me.

Any exhaust bridge can use the additional oil, it's a hotspot. A proper relief of around .002 (bridge area) should be done when recoating the cylinder.

Chamfer it and give it a try, and use Motul 800. Been getting excellent results meaning very minimal wear!

Nothing wrong with Wiseco's or most any brand "as long as you take the time to measure the bore and measure the piston". Then have a good squish to prevent detno and all should be good with proper tuning.

The narrow strip of metal that divides the exhaust port is called the bridge. Being that it is so narrow it heats up and expands starting the seizure. By drilling holes in your piston directly across from the bridge will allow the residual 2 stroke oil ... more »

Flat on top usually means squish not reconfigured to the 50 to 55% optimal range. Ran a 112 for 25 hours at a time before 10% drop off in compression. Motor was very reliable BUT it was carefully set up with port timing and squish right on. Was looking ... more »
