Reply to what is the scoop on Rockzen and 4/23/2014 8:42 PM

Seems like you can train "all you want", but there's no real substitute for actually racing the main event laps. Look at Deano at Daytona. His training with Ryno is paying off, but what do you really do to prepare for 20 laps on a gnarly track against ... more »

Thank you sir, as do I. I take trips to the garage to "get water" sometimes.

That surprises me, they've been advertising that race since A1. Almost as bad as 2014 MEC commercials during the 2013 MEC.

Ah, I didn't think of that. That makes sense. If and when I do get one, I'll try to keep an eye on my crank bearings and catch any problems before they turn catastrophic.

Reply to THERE IS NO VILLAPOTO 4/23/2014 1:07 PM

How do you explain the podium interviews then? Is Villopoto tucked away somewhere, getting sweaty and dirty for his post-race talk, while his stunt double goes out and whoops up on everyone? Who did you hear this from? Did you stamp it? Do you even know ... more »

I wouldn't waste your time posting here, Jason, your Mad Skills times are slipping

I'm sorry, but that's fucking ridiculous. Seeing useless "centralization of mass" shit get forced down our throats gets old too. I just can't understand why you'd come on here and delete comments from the people who bring you daily traffic. Our comments ... more »

I have this issue too, gonna do that.

It's true that they have very little low-end, but I think it's deceptive at the same time. The electronic power valve doesn't really tear your arms out of your sockets like most 250 motors (from my limited experience) but I find that when I'm in a drag ... more »

Reply to 02 CR250R running too rich? 4/22/2014 9:44 PM

I read that having the idle too high can have this effect. There's a special way to get the pilot and idle speed set to where you obtain a good pilot setting without the bike loading. I haven't figured it out, but I know it can be done. If the weather's ... more »

I replied to both of yours and it's gone too. Fuckin 4-stroke fascists.

Reply to Any video of the EMX 300cc race? 4/22/2014 9:39 PM

No doubt, it's not a fair comment anyway. This class is going to be dependent on Youthstream keeping it around longer than the intro year. It's kind of a "no man's land" class, but I could see it gaining some momentum as more opportunities open up and ... more »

Reply to Tell me all you can about the 2004 CR250R.... 4/22/2014 9:33 PM

Couldn't have said it better myself. I didn't have an '01, but I did have a YZ250. The motor is stronger, but when geared the same, the difference isn't as much. But the CR is better just about everywhere else. The suspension might be just a tad more ... more »

Yeah I've read you can make them rideable. Blaizer wrote in his article that the oil capacity was way too small, I believe.

Reply to Is This The Most Embarrassing Interview Fox News Has Ever Done? 4/21/2014 5:59 PM

Very interesting, did not know that. The interview was so terrible, that's all I was able to focus on. Too bad he misrepresented himself that way, makes both parties look equally ridiculous.

Such a massive huck for what is essentially a late 80's open 2-stroke (factory equipped, of course). Terrafirma 3 | '96 Des Nations from FoxHeadInc on Vimeo.

For $200, he can replace a lotta stuff and still get away spending less than most of us buying used bikes (before fixing stuff)!
