Added reply in a thread Why is the FIM involved in American MX series? 12/19/2014 11:58 AM

I don't think that was ever proven. Other riders have personal doctors at races, so it would be hard to prove that kind of thing is happening. Even though most think it does go on.

And thus would have resulted in positive tests, correct? Thats what I heard and thought they were talking about.

Ok, I recant what I perviously said. From my memory it was talked about but they couldn't say who the riders where due to the time limitations to get the proper medical paper work and the TUEs. I know there were rumors but I thought they had two positive ... more »

From listening to the pulp show, i seem to recall them saying he failed that test. I don't remember which show it was, but ill go back to the archives and see if I can't find it and ill post it up. The TUE thing was strange for the nationals since the ... more »

Great point. I remember Mookie talking about his mom and dad splitting races they attended to support both of the boys. No matter how you slice it, they are about their family through and through. Loyalty runs deep with those guys. I know the Straight ... more »

They weren't released. Matthes talked about it on the pulp show. Something to do with not enough time to get the TUEs for the nationals so the lakewood results were thrown out.

If thats the case, why did the AMA let James race the nationals? Wouldn't they have had to stop him from racing?

Added reply in a thread Why is the FIM involved in American MX series? 12/19/2014 11:17 AM

James did fail an outdoor test. So did others.

I agree. Nothing like it. I have to say, I think if 4strokes never came around in supercross, James would have more championships. IMO

You fuck that section up and its not going to be pretty. Dude has a whole different way of looking at obstacles on a track.

I know they do, but SX and MX don't have an out of season testing protocol that I know of.

Added reply in a thread Dump the FIM 12/18/2014 11:41 AM

I don't remember seeing any FIM logos at the MX nationals this year in the US.

So whats worse, the guy who cheated and got caught but got a lesser penalty to tell on someone else who cheated. or the guy who cheated and got caught and got the full penalty but didn't tell on the other guys who did cheat but never got caught???

Added reply in a thread Dear Mr. Stewart-Letter From FIM 12/18/2014 10:55 AM

The FIM isn't shit. Think about it. If the Supercross series decided they didn't want to go with the FIM as the governing body, what could the FIM do? Stop them from having supercross races in the US? Nope. And the FIM doesn't govern the MX series here ... more »

So do they stick to the same rulings for every rider caught? Or will you see some influence on who they are in each sport start to sway the outcome? Like some have said, would Cairoli have been punished this heavily? There will be some issues that will ... more »

My point is no sport is truly clean. So there is some what of a facade for every sport. You can do all that you can to stop it but it will happen no matter what. Use WADA or USADA as the testing agency ONLY. Not the agency that hands down the penalties. ... more »

So, do you think people cheat and not get caught under the testing WADA and USADA provide?

Added reply in a thread Must-See Letter Between the AMA and FIM 12/18/2014 9:52 AM

FTE could they drop the FIM before the supercross series starts? Realistically.
