Saturday morning me and kids got up and we rode the snowmobile around for an hour or so tube rides etc in the snow.
After lunch, we headed out to the track and rode dirtbikes until dark. It was a long but great day of riding and I was sore on Sunday.
The thing about winter up here is that you end up missing riding dirt bikes so much you start to go crazy. So even when it slightly starts to get nice, even if there still is snow on the track we hit it!
I put the sled away today and by this weekend, it will be all dirt until November.

The Sandbox
I went riding this week to the indoor facility in northern WI The Sandbox. When you have minus temps and unlimited snow outside, doesn't riding indoors sound good?
All went well, put down a ton of practice sessions on the YZ125. Most people can tell exactly where I'm at on the track by the sound compared to thump thump thump sounds.
Well the funny thing is, another 125cc showed up and I kinda felt like Manny from Ice Age thinking I was the only two stroker left. But guess what, I'm not alone!

One Industries Trooper Helmet
My new 2008 Trooper One Industries Helmet came last week and I was able to try it out this weekend. I'm amazed at how light it feels. I really think they did an outstanding job on this helmet. The fit, feel and comfort are on par with some of the best helmets out there.

SNAP Fitness
Had my annual physical recently and found out I'm going to hell. I used to train and keep in shape by racing and practicing mx. Since my ankle injuries, all I can really do is play around on pitbikes so needless to say, I'm old school and getting fat. I gained 20 lbs since last year and Doc says my cholestoral is through the roof. Top it off working my ass off with tons of stress besides at work, all not good.
Until SNAP Fitness moved to my neighborhood. 24/7 gym with all new Cybex Equipment. I love it. Have been going for a couple weeks now and already dropped about 5 lbs. I hit the weights and do low impact aerobic stuff. Cannot run or do steppers because of the shot ankles. Nothing like hitting the gym at 8pm and being the only one there having the whole place to yourself. I feel great and hope to keep it up through the winter.
Anyone else go to SNAP?
