Hey I just got an 1988 cr125r and the water pump housing was corroded right out, put a cover from an 87 on and it looks brass, but I'm not sure if the housing is still magnesium, anyways what kind of coolant should I run to keep it from corroding? Thanks!

I ran Moose Juice and then later Peak Antifreeze in my 1988 Honda CR125 back when I raced it. I never had the problem of the water pump corrosion that many CR125 owners talk about.
