Added reply in a thread Marc de Reuver? 3/6/2015 7:54 AM
Marc wrote on Facebook that he's gonna quit. He's been through so much injuries and pain and isn't the youngest anymore...... But that's now while he's lying in the hospital bed. Maybe he'll change his mind when he's healed up again, but for now it seems ... more »

Paulin had an injury last year, but in 2012 and 2013 he finished the championship in 3rd and 5th, Nagl on the other has missed GP's due to injuries almost every year. Considering that I think Paulin is a safer choise for a team. Both are fast, no doubt ... more »

A foot injurie? Is that why he had a sling around his arm and necksupport? ;-) https://instagram.com/p/zzbK_QBHup/?modal=true

I don't think so, they got Paulin instead. Max is very fast, no doubt, but his problem is that he never has an injury free season. So it's a risk for teams signing him. If he stays on two wheels this year he could be a titlecontender, especially with ... more »

I'm so sad about reading this. Marc is just a very nice guy with so much talent. Unfortunatly he had some heavy crashes/injuries. He was running for the worldtitle in 2003 when he dislocated his hip in a crash in a Dutch championship race and he broke ... more »

Useless discussion. To compete at this level, supercross, outdoors or GP's you have to be topfit, and I think all those guys are.

Agree, they are a bunch of amateurs. Like you said, this jump can be filmed way more spectaculair than they do now from the front. But I'm afraid they will never learn at Youthstream...

RV2 is flying to Thailand today. So he'll have some time to aclimate and get rid of his jetlag... I wonder if the testing these 3 days were usefull. Hope he can mix in the fight upfront this weekend. That's what we all want, don't we?

Valkenswaard too, with all the Dutch and Belgian fans. (it's very close to the Belgian border)

The reason why they race in the night in Qatar is that it is not to obvious that there are no spectators... No one in that desert gives a damn about motocross. And yeah, the camerawork is awful, they could learn from how they do it in the US, but they ... more »

Well actually I was there pretty much all the time as I worked in the GP's as a mechanic these days. So yeah, I think I know how she was then. You base it on thing you heard, I base it on the thing I saw on saturdaynight in the paddock and on the campsite.... ... more »

LMAO! You are not very well informed. She WAS one of the pro-hoes, like you call them. The only thing she and her friends did, was hanging around the big boys at the GP's to get some... First she had Strijbos but when that didn't work out she looked ... more »

Kinda agree. Butron does always start upfront and ends up backwards. Passing him is not always easy cause he fights hard for his position. Which is normal I think. RV also found out that Philippaerts is hard to pass. De Reuver was commenting on TV here ... more »

That was the Dutch girl Nancy vande Ven. She rode a 125 twostroke last year, because she was not strong enough for a fourstroke yet. Now in her first race on a 4 stroke she even led the race (before crashing very hard)

I'd say: 1 Paulin, 2 RV, 3 Cairoli MX2 1 Herlings, 2 Gajser, 3 Ferrandis

Yep, I still think RV can win in Thailand and I expected him to do better in Qatar. But it's a long season and he'll be stronger and will probably win races. I think it's just great he took this challenge and he (still) has a good shot in winning this ... more »

Point 8 is bullshit, this is a man made track in the middle of the bloody desert. They've been organising GP's here just for a few years and this is nothing like the tracks back in Europe.

They don't have their bikes there till friday, so they can't train on the bike. JH thinks that's a waste of time. Especially now when hes been only back on the bike for a few weeks. RV apparrently feels the same. They'll be working on their bike setup ... more »
