That was the Dutch girl Nancy vande Ven. She rode a 125 twostroke last year, because she was not strong enough for a fourstroke yet. Now in her first race on a 4 stroke she even led the race (before crashing very hard)

I'd say: 1 Paulin, 2 RV, 3 Cairoli MX2 1 Herlings, 2 Gajser, 3 Ferrandis

Yep, I still think RV can win in Thailand and I expected him to do better in Qatar. But it's a long season and he'll be stronger and will probably win races. I think it's just great he took this challenge and he (still) has a good shot in winning this ... more »

You clearly havent been following the Gp's the last years.... By the way, Qatar isn't In Europe, Thailand and Argentina aren't either. These tracks are as new to Cairoli as they are for RV. When they go back to Europe you get the typical GP tracks like ... more »

Point 8 is bullshit, this is a man made track in the middle of the bloody desert. They've been organising GP's here just for a few years and this is nothing like the tracks back in Europe.

They don't have their bikes there till friday, so they can't train on the bike. JH thinks that's a waste of time. Especially now when hes been only back on the bike for a few weeks. RV apparrently feels the same. They'll be working on their bike setup ... more »

No, nothing to do with his leg. He did it last year too. Thinks it's a waste of time being in Thailand a week without a bike. He rather flies back home, trains a few days and go to Thailand after that. Last year twitter and insta were filled with all ... more »

Well, to me Rattray finished just where I expected him.... Did you really think he could do better?
Added reply in a thread Qatar GP Bench Race - The Motos 3/1/2015 1:23 AM
No he wasn't. Rattray did exactly what I expexted him to do. On a good day he must be happy with top 10, around 15th is where he belongs nowadays. If you have seen Some things of last years season you would have known. Nagl wins on the bike Rattray couldn't ... more »

Hes got months of testing and got to chose his teammate, where he wanted to train etcetera. Vital was full with people saying he would smoke everyone In Qatar. In fact, with his talent and everything around him, I also thought he would be podium minimum. ... more »

I think the biggest fault he made was chosing Rattray for helping him setup the bike and suspension. how the hell would a Guy who's barely top 20 himself be able to setup a bike for a winner. The level in GP's isn't that bad as you all could have seen ... more »

RV is not gonna be lapped in Lommel, cause Herlings rides MX2...

If the 350 fits Tommy, he could be a regular top 5 rider, but the competition is very big. Won't be easy for him.
Added reply in a thread The forgotten five in MXGP? 2/23/2015 5:44 AM
Tyla must be happy if he gets top 10 now and then, don't see him get top top 5. Frossard can be very fast but crashes to much. On a good day he must be able to run top 3. Bobryshev mostly the same. Good speed now and then, but always on the edge, which ... more »

Don't agree. Back in Europe on the Kawa he was the only EVER to challenge Herlings. He even beat Herlings now and then. That was the best he has ever looked.

Tougher competition? Cairoli has beaten guys like Desalle year in year out, who came over to the US do a national last year and raced upfront just like that. Don't act like guys like Desalle, Paulin and Nagl are no competition. I said it before, RV has ... more »

I think it's funny. Ofcourse RV has a good chance of winning, but by saying al this crap, everybody in Europe will be laughing his ass off when he doesn't... Normally RV2 will be a good match for Cairoli and has a good chance of winning the world title, ... more »
