From what I've heard it's the same metallic blue that is used on the YZF R1

This build came out really nice! Where did you source that kick starter? I recently picked up a 93 basket case which appears to be an ex Peter Johansson GP bike with some trick parts on. I need a cone pipe for it, can anyone point me in a direction where

Soo cool! Very trick compared to the competition these years. But I guess the quality were not comparable to the Japanese bikes

Nice build and soo nice with neon colours! Unfortunately those colours can't be printed digitally as they are flourescent. back in the day they used silk screen printing with real flourescent paint which is too expensive for low quantities. I have a ... more »

I'm glad you want to stick to the navy blue colour. Plastics are hard to find but should be possible. Here is CEET seat cover in navy blue.

Btw I use 10w oil in my forks as I was told by someone who raced back in the day that the 5w oils that are standard now wasn't used at that time so the fork would be to soft with 5w. Did you buy the other bike?

Nice to see a Swedish evo build! Where are you located? I'm in Gothenburg and have a 90 cr125 that I restored some years ago. It's very nice to ride despite the harsh forks, they are better than I expected but by no means good

Nice bike! Sure looks like a 97, look up the VIN at oem-cycle.com. Regardless year those bikes have great engine and are very good looking in my opinion. Good luck with the build!

Thanks for asking! Not much, but at the moment I'm working on a skid plate and prepare the frame for welding mounts for the plate and water pump guard. Unfortunately I have no pics of the progress but I attach a bunch of race pics of the bikes from 97.

All the parts I have collected myself so it's not a former team bike. i was just curious to know where the graphics comes from and how those bikes looked. Thanks anyway.

Cool project, especially since it is the original bike! I love these years CR125 and have a 96 myself. The graphics I have seem to come from a Dutch team but I haven't managed to find any info on which team and riders. Do you recognize them? Good luck

Very nice build, nice to add parts subsequently as they come

Are you sure the right frame guard is mounted correctly? Looks like it should be turned 180 degrees with the logo part covering the master cylinder?
