Thoughts and prayers go out to Mike. The rider suffered a fractured collarbone and a bruised hip. (Rider was Derek Fowler #48)

I would have to agree Paul's tips are very helpful. My indoor shots are 100% better. Thanks Paul! Last weekend I took a few at a local indoor track with half the lights off and a skylight in the backgroud. Normally a very hard shot for me. (D50 w/ 18-55 ... more »

Paul, what would be the ideal lens for arenacross? My 18-70mm Nikon lens jsut broke last week. So most of my pictures were taken with an 18-55mm or an 80-200mm f/2.8

After looking at my settings from last season I can tell I was going the wrong way trying get the right light. Thanks, I'll give it a try later this week.
