I took that picture long with some others. Cliff White and Jim Felt spent almost a week at the Holiday Inn on Navarre Beach working on the bikes before the Daytona Supercross. I went by several days in a row just to talk with them and they hooked me

My injury is a lot like Bret’s and too place in 1997. I was on my second lap of practice on a freshly groomed track and I was clutching (2nd gear I think) it trying to make a rut in a flat sweeper. The back end started to spin out. I must have chopped

What better way to pay a sponser back than standing on top of the podium at a race put on by one of your sponsers biggest competitors. It will be interesting to see if the announcers are even allowed to mention Red Bull!
